FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: described is new 2,4-disulfo-alpha-phenyl- tert-butylnitron compound of formula I and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. These compounds are useful as pharmaceutical agents for parenteral, e.g. intraveous injection to patients suffering from acute oxidation of central nervous system which occurs during shock, or from gradual oxidation of central nervous system. These agents are also useful for weakening intensity of side effects in treating diseases which cause oxidative disorder. Also described are pharmaceutical composition and methods of medical treatment using compounds of general formula I.
