FIELD: cleaning gases; cleaning exhaust gases of chemical works from carbon and sulfur oxides, as well as cleaning exhaust of internal combustion engines from nitric oxides and separation of nitric oxides from ozone in its synthesis. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes cylindrical discharge chamber with electrode in its center; this electrode is coated with layer of dielectric at dielectric permittivity of 3.7 to 6.0; dielectric layer is provided with holes. Between walls of chamber and central electrode there is cone-shaped screen made from dielectric at angle of 15 to 35 deg between generatrix of cone and central axis. Device also includes pulse high voltage source. EFFECT: improved completeness, increase of purification efficiency of air from toxic agents. 2 cl, 1 dwg
