FIELD: engines and pumps; electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises high voltage power supply source and the following components serially installed downstream: facility for preliminary treatment of air flow, two-section inactivation chamber and precipitator. Facility for preliminary treatment of air flow is formed from oppositely charged current-conducting filtering elements, between which plate is installed from dielectric highly porous permeable material. The first downstream current-conducting filtering element is arranged in the form of cylindrical electrode with basis in the form of plate from current-conducting porous permeable material, which adjoins plate from dielectric highly porous permeable material, and plate from current-conducting highly porous material installed at the distance from free end of cylindrical electrode, which adjoins electrically connected needle electrode installed coaxially to cylindrical electrode and directed with its point to the side of dielectric plate. Cylindrical and needle electrodes are connected to opposite poles of power supply source. Every section of two-section inactivation chamber is arranged in the form of coaxially installed needle ionising and cylindrical corona-free electrodes, every of which is electrically connected to corresponding plate from current-conducting filtering material. Precipitator is made of oppositely charged plates from highly porous current-conducting material parallel to each other, between which plates are installed from highly porous permeable dielectric material.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of bioaerosols inactivation.
