FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a nitrogen oxide (NO) process from a feed gas containing at least nitrogen and oxygen by means of an electrical discharge, and can be used in scientific studies (experimental plasma studies), biology (exposure on biological objects) and medicine (inhalation NO-therapy, as well as therapy of wound, inflammatory, vascular and other pathologies). A nitrogen oxide generator system contains a discharge chamber (3), two electrically isolated high voltage electrodes first (4) of which is presented in the form of a disk with a threaded central inlet hole, while a second (5) high voltage electrode represents a wire loop along a discharge chamber axis, arranged inside the discharge chamber so that between the above electrodes, there is an interelectronic space, an inlet (6) and an outlet (7), a gas filter, a feed gas injector (2) with the feed gas containing at least oxygen and nitrogen, an absorber (9), and a gas analyser (9). An input of the above injector is connected to the gas filter, an output of the above injector is connected to the inlet; an input of the above absorber is connected to the outlet, whereas an output of the absorber is connected to the gas analyser; what is additionally provided is a voltage pulse former (10) with variable repetition rate, comprising a resonant inverter and electrically connected to the high voltage electrodes and gas analyser.

EFFECT: invention enables increasing the reliability and simplifying the device.
