FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to standardized units with two design members. Proposed unit consists of two design members with butt-joining surfaces arranged opposite to each other and support surfaces 8, 9 opposite to each other. Distance between butt-joining surface 4 and support surface 8 of first design member 1 is at least smaller than distance between butt- joining surface 3 and support surface 9 of other design member 2 by at least 0,5 mm or 3 mm. First design member 1 can be provided with extension 5 on which support surface 8 is located. Extension gets into socket 6 on other design member 2 on which support surface 9 is made. When assembling the unit, support force is applied in direction towards butt-joining surfaces to make the latter come into tight contact without clearance. To create support force extending element 12 is fitted between support surfaces 8, 9 to provide radial extension. EFFECT: simplified design. 8 cl, 2 dwg
