FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed rail vehicle has rail car module 2 preliminarily made ands connected with frame 3 and head module 12 preliminarily made of fiber composite material. Connecting zone of frame 3 pointed to head module 12 is provided with means for compensating tolerances in height. Connecting zone of body module 12 pointed to head module 12 is made, at least in zone of side walls 9 of car body, in form of connecting edge with means for compensating tolerances in longitudinal and cross directions. Head module 12 is provided with connecting edges of front and side walls 13, 14 of head module with reinforcement sections included into composite material, connecting edges being pointed to module 2 of body and to frame 3. Front and side walls 13, 14 of head module are rigidly connected relative to shift with frame 3 by means of fasteners creating prestressing and resting on reinforcement sections. At least side walls 14 of head module are rigidly connected relative to shift with side walls 9 of car body by means of fasteners creating prestressing and resting on reinforcement sections.
