FIELD: organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: method includes following steps: preparation of first reaction mixture containing saccharose and aprotic polar solvent; addition of 1,3-diacyclooxy-1,1,3,3-tetrahydrocarbyl-distannoxane to the first reaction mixture to form second reaction mixture; passing second solvent vapors capable of azeotropically removing water through the second reaction mixture in sufficient amounts and for sufficient period of time to achieve removal of essentially all water from reaction mixture to form third reaction mixture containing above-mentioned aprotic polar solvent and the second solvent; and addition of carboxylic acid anhydride and keeping reaction mixture at temperature and for period of time both sufficient to complete esterification reaction.
