FIELD: refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: oil separator consists of set of vertical unified tubular sections made from tubes having inner diameter of 152 mm and lesser which are interconnected by means of branch pipes and horizontal oil receiver. Each section is provided with inlet device which is used for twisting vertical uptake flow of vapor-and-oil mixture turning it downward through 180 deg under constant level of oil and then upward through 180 deg passing through set of screen coagulators mounted in inclined position; separator is also provided with fine filters with outlet to delivery collector. Such multi-stage scheme of separation of oil is effective due to centrifugal effect, abrupt turns of flow, bubbling of vapor-and-oil mixture through level of oil where vapor-oil phase is dissolved, coagulation of drops of oil on inclined screen coagulator, abrupt reduction of velocity of uptake flow at simultaneous gravitational effect and final cleaning of vapor from oil in porous filter elements. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation of oil from ammonia in delivery line of screw compressor; high strength and safety of operation of apparatus. 2 dwg
