OIL PUMP Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: supply of petroleum products. SUBSTANCE: pump may be used to supply oil for internal combustion engines. Pump has a body assembled with the aid of threaded elements. The body is provided with cover having threaded hole for attachment of pipe connection and with branch pipe fitted with headpiece containing a filter. The pump has gears arranged in the body and mounted on shafts one of which is drive shaft and bushing fixed in the body. Bushing serves as a support for one of shafts. Sectional parts of the body are made shaped. They have internal cavities one of which contains protrusion with reducing valve installed in it. Metal shim with holes is secured in the body. The second part of the body c with reducing valve communicates with branch pipe through a hole. Branch pipe is provided with tapered section which narrows in direction of oil flow.
