FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: process of manufacture of helical compressors includes fabrication of master rotor that duplicates shape of helical teeth, manufacture of billet for mould, manufacture of rotor and its removal from mould. Billet for mould is manufactured by duplication of shape of master rotor in it. Rotor is manufactured by duplication of configuration of mould by filling of its space with fluid material for rotor and by solidification of this material. After manufacture of billet for mould material is removed from this billet for formation of correction sections. Round recesses in zone of roots of teeth formed in process of manufacture of master rotor are corrected by removal of round formation points in billet for mould which were created by recesses in master rotor. Invention also describes process of manufacture of mould for rotor and rotor with helical teeth for helical compressor. EFFECT: simplified process of manufacture of rotors which sufficiently diminished leak slit and enhances efficiency of helical compressors. 5 cl, 14 dwg
