FIELD: railway transport; traffic control. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has wheelset passage detection track transmitter arranged close to rail in zone of wheel flange movement, supply source and voltage stabilizer located close to transmitter. Output of track transmitter is connected to controlled input of switch. Outputs of energy storage unit are connected to inputs of voltage stabilizer. Supply source is connected to controlled switch input through wheelset passage signal indicator whose second output being output 3 of device. Track transmitter includes wheel movement detector, pulse generator, counters, registers, comparator circuit, wheel stopping control device and control circuit.
