FIELD: railway transport; diagnostic laboratories. SUBSTANCE: complex has track measuring car with unsprung frame and inspection tower, formation defectoscope in form of georadar with transmitting and receiving antennas located on outer end face of car, at different sides from vertical axis of symmetry of end face, installed for turning in plate of car cross section through angle providing probing of formation to a depth not less than 6 m, and computer connected to georadar output, multiparameter devices for diagnosing and checking position of permanent way which include running speed and covered distance members, track elevation and slope meter, track radius-of-turn meter, rail line level position meter, two units of rail line position in plan and profile check pickups and short line irregularities check pickups, rail butt joint clearance and rail head wear pickups, two adders, reference voltage unit, pyrometer and computer. Connected to input bus of computer are outputs of meters, pickup units, second adder and pyrometer. It has also video system to inspect condition of contact circuit.
