FIELD: optical information processing. SUBSTANCE: device provides optical feedback and two-state operation mode of image converter. Goal of invention is achieved by second analyzer, which is introduced between high-resistance photo semiconductor and electrooptic crystal. In addition device uses control light, which excites photo semiconductor and is distributed from side of electrooptic crystal. Thus, optical control of time for storage of converted image is independent from time for exposition of writing light. Presence of optical positive feedback provides increased sensitivity to writing light. Increased threshold sensitivity is also facilitated by time modulation of control light, which effectively decreases height of Schottky-barrier at joint of photo semiconductor and layer of second analyzer.
