FIELD: mobile communication using code-division multiple-access (CDMA) systems. SUBSTANCE: device has unit for generation of pseudonoise sequence, which provides generation of pseudonoise sequence by means of linear or cyclic shift of characters in orthogonal or bi-orthogonal code according given pattern of jumping alterations. In addition device has selector of orthogonal characters, which is designed as selective output of one of orthogonal characters subjected to cyclic shift. The method for generation of pseudonoise sequence in CDMA communication system involves operations for cyclic shift of sequences of orthogonal codes and selective output of one of sequences of orthogonal code subjected to cyclic shift according to given pattern.
