FIELD: synthetic liquid fuels. SUBSTANCE: invention provides new synthetic diesel fuel or components for mixing with distillate fuel. Synthetic fuel including fraction 121-371 C is prepared in the process with Fischer-Tropsch catalyst and contains at least 95% of paraffins with iso-to-normal isomer ratio from 0.3: 1 to 3.0:1, no more than 50 ppm of each sulfur and nitrogen, less than about 0.5 wt % of unsaturated compounds, and from about 0.001 to less than 0.3 wt % of oxygen, all being calculated with relation to anhydrous base. EFFECT: increased octane number of fuel. 11 cl, 2 dwg, 2 tbl, 8 ex
