FIELD: fuel compositions for jet engines, gas turbines, rocket engines and diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel contains the following components in definite amounts: (a) alkyl aromatic compounds of formula (I); (b) fuel additives and (c) blends of fuel components for jet engines, gas turbines, rocket engines and diesel engines, preferably purified blends of fuel components at ultra-low content of sulfur or blend of fuel components of Fisher-Tropsch process which are free from poly-cyclic compounds, mainly from poly-cyclic aromatic constituents and from unreacted benzol. Proposed invention also deals with method of placing the diesel engine, jet engine, rocket engine or gas turbine in operation; it also deals with method of placing the transport facility provided with power system in operation, as well as method of placing the ramjet engine or supersonic engine in operation; said fuel composition is used for accomplishing these methods. Proposed fuel composition has high flash point, low temperature of loss of fluidity, high stability at elevated temperatures and resistance to oxidants, increased density, improved lubricating efficiency, reduced toxicity, compatibility with jet fuel, gas turbine fuel, rocket and/or diesel fuel in natural blends at standard ultra-low content of sulfur.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
