FIELD: labeling facilities. SUBSTANCE: self-sticking label placed on backing of detachable material has multiple-layer part of label, part with tongue provided with strip arranged at a distance from multiple-layer part and self-sticking laminated material as upper layer stuck by its self-sticking surface to upper surface of multiple-layer part of label and part with tongue. Section of laminated material glued directly to backing made of detachable material is found between multiple-layer part of label and part with tongue. Proposed method provides for making continuous row of such labels. Use of strip for forming tongued part provides increased stiffness at transverse edge of label which facilities tearing off of label and contributes to high speed of separation of labels from backing for sticking on containers by means of automatic labeling machines and increases area of surface used for marking.
