FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: label is made with the ability to cover the said surface without complete wrapping the product and comprising a heat shrinkable tape with inner and outer surfaces and with the machine and transverse directions and a continuous adhesive layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive with the inner and outer surfaces covering substantially the entire inner surface of the heat shrinkable tape. At that the inner surface of the adhesive layer is adhered to the inner surface of the tape and the outer surface of the layer is made with the ability of adhesion with surface with at least one complex curvature. At that the tape is made with an ultimate shrinkage S measured by the method ASTM D1204 in at least one direction of at least 10 % at 90°C, and in another direction S±20%. The invention also relates to the product with the label.

EFFECT: label can be applied to containers and products with a complex shape and curvature, using less material and less expense than using for a label of sleeves of shrinkage material or wrapping with such material.
