SUBSTANCE: process consists in transmission of controlling information from controlling information generator in servicing center to one or several computer installations. Specified controlling information comes in the form of alphanumeric information, message is encoded into train of signals of relatively short length, signal of indicator of start and signal of indicator of finish are added at beginning and end of mentioned train of signals, this train is included in complete audio or video signal and is sent to user's computer. Received train is extracted in computer installations of users from complete signal, is decoded to message of alphanumeric information and this message is employed to initiate program-controlled actions recorded in storage. Each character of information in specified message can be encoded as audio signal. Actions initiated by specified message include interactive participation of radio listener or TV viewer in radio broadcast or TV program, interactive communication between program stored on carrier and computer installation, direct sending of mail or advertisement addressed to any of particular groups of people, each of them being determined by at least one common parameter of personal data. Identification signal is added to specified train of signals to identify any sender. Personal identification information is stored in each computer installation.
