FIELD: heat and power engineering. SUBSTANCE: method may be used in heat and power generating sets and boiler plants. Method includes desorption of oxygen dissolved in water. Method is realized at contact of source water and heating agent in spray-type deaerator. Source water and heating agent are supplied to deaerator under gauge pressure. Deaerated water and flash steam formed during deaeration are removed from deaerator. Source water pressure upstream from deaerator is adjusted by value of preset residual content of oxygen dissolved in deaerated water. Method provides for improved quality of water thermal deaeration due to maintaining of optimal water pressure in deaerator. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
