FIELD: blasting. SUBSTANCE: the electronic circuit is enclosed in a capsule that is in contact with the body surrounding it, which dissipates the shock energy. The capsule may have a great number of ribs, plates or bosses that rest on the body. The capsule may include shock-absorbing material, located before the body for protection of the circuit against vibrations, and structural supporting material for protection of the circuit against stresses. The assembly for electronic circuit has a capacitor for accumulation of the electric signal and a time-counting circuit for release of the accumulated energy on expiration of a preset delay. The assembly for electronic circuit may be a component of the converter-circuit assembly, which includes a converter module for conversion of shock-wave energy to electric energy for the electronic circuit, and the released energy may be converted to a signal for initiation of detonation. The assembly may be a component of the detonator, which receives a non-electric signal of initiation and causes detonation after a delay determined by the electronic circuit.
