FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method relates to powder metallurgy, and namely to obtaining of products by a self-spreading high-temperature synthesis (SHS). It can be used for creation of materials and products, including medical purpose, in case of synthesis of biologically compatible materials. Powder components are mixed so that a homogeneous exothermic mixture is obtained at their specified ratio providing self combustion. The obtained mixture is pressed into the product of the specified shape and SHS is performed by being ignited simultaneously in all ignition places. Ignition places are located relative to centre of masses of the product in a horizontal plane in every 60-120°.
EFFECT: improving performance characteristics, such as strength, hardness, wear resistance in all planes of the product.
