FIELD: medicinal parasitology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of malaria parasite culturing. In culturing Plasmodium falciparum in nutrient medium RPMI-1640 containing buffer HEPES, serum and sodium carbonate additionally antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase and catalase are added additionally. These enzymes are isolated from human blood erythrocytes. Enzymes are added in the amounts that do not cause hemolysis of erythrocytes. EFFECT: increased yield of parasites, accelerated accumulation of biomass. 1 tbl
