FIELD: application of coatings to working surfaces of parts, mainly, blades of gas turbine compressors. SUBSTANCE: method includes ionic cleaning of base surface, application of at least two layers of coating. The first layer is produced by discharge of neutral gas from one or mixture of transition metals of IVA-VIA groups. The second layer is applied by deposition of said metals in mixture with neutral and reactive gases. The third layer is applied by deposition of mixture of neutral and reactive gases of nitrides, or carbides, or borides or their mixtures with thickness of layers being in ratio of (0.02-5.0):(0.04-10):(0.1-12.5) mcm. In this case, one or several layers are subjected to ion implantation with argon, nitrogen, carbon or boron in course of deposition or after completion of deposition process. After application of coating, it is subjected to vibration treatment with microballs.
