FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of protective coatings on steel blades of humid steam turbine stages. Method includes electrolytic-plasma polishing of blade, its placement in vacuum chamber, heating of vacuum chamber, pumping of air from it, cleaning and etching of blade surface with ions of inert gas. Then nanocomposite microlayers of titanium with aluminum and titanium nitride with aluminum nitride are pairwise formed on the blade surface. Microlayers of titanium nitride with aluminum nitride are formed with thickness of 1.35±0.15 mcm, total thickness of each formed pair of microlayers is 1.75±0.25 mcm, and the total number of pairs of microlayers in the coating is six or seven.
EFFECT: increasing service life of coating due to increase of its corrosion and fatigue resistance.
