FIELD: oil-and-gas producing industry and geological prospecting; applicable in pinching of pipes under emergency conditions. SUBSTANCE: device has driven overlapping member in the form of plungers and support. Plungers serve for pinching pipes and stopping their internal channels. Plungers are provided with heating members and made of materials with shape memory effect. Materials of plungers ensure changing of their shapes with plunger temperature reaching point of shape transformation of their materials. EFFECT: higher efficiency due to elimination of troubles on pipelines by their pinching under conditions of absence of possibilities of delivery of special equipment. 2 dwg
