SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has at least one cylinder module which has shaft with first cam with several working lobes axially installed on shaft, second neighbor cam with several working lobes and differential gear train to first cam with several working lobes to provide rotation in opposite direction around shaft. Cylinders of each pair are arranged diametrically opposite to shaft with cams. Pistons in pair of cylinders are rigidly intercoupled. Cams with several working lobes have 3+n lobes where n is either zero or whose even number. Reciprocation of pistons in cylinders provide rotation of shaft through coupling of piston and surfaces of cams with several working lobes.
