FIELD: floating and stationary hydroelectric power plants. SUBSTANCE: proposed Pelton turbine has its shaft mounted in bearings fixed in supports. Turbine buckets have blind external element and bottom made in the form of curved blade built up of separate shutters whose symmetry axes are not in alignment with their longitudinal center line and stops functioning to prevent turning of shutters through angle exceeding 90 deg. Shutters are piled up under action of river stream and form tight bottom of bucket. Turbine top is half-closed with hood provided with front and rear cones. Cone angle from center to periphery is 60 and 20 deg. for front and rear cones, respectively. Shutters are turned and piled up on supports by means of working stream of river. Floating-plant turbine is coupled with drive and pantograph. Turbine is designed for operation in half-submerged and fully submerged condition. EFFECT: provision for round-the-year power generation from river water without building hydraulic structures. 2 dwg
