FIELD: instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: level gage may also be used in petroleum and chemical industries. Level gage has cylindrical casing accommodating calibration channel coupled optically to radiation source through beam splitter, turning mirror and return prism with the second photodetector which is series-connected to the second input of digital switch through the second amplified and second single-level discriminator. The first input of digital switch is series-connected to the first photodetector and its amplifier through the first discriminator of signal level. Digital switch output is connected to the second input of starting driver, the first input of which is connected to single-pulse generator and its output, to light-pulse radiator. Single-pulse generator, digital switch and frequency meter are connected to microcontroller through system busbar. Two temperature-sensitive elements positioned on level-gage casing at different height are connected to microcontroller connected to computer through connecting line.
