FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves applying thermokeratoplastic laser treatment by exposing cornea to infrared radiation of laser on ytterbium-erbium glass having 1.54 mcm large wavelength. The laser radiation treatment uses radiation power of 150-160 mJ with 0.2-0.3 mm large laser application diameter. Refraction function being stabilized, conservative complex amblyopia is treated with laser-mediated and electric stimulation, computer training and medicamentous treatment combination being applied.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in restoring normal and identical vision function in both eyes.
