FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining patient vegetative status. Intravenous laser irradiation of blood is administered to sympatheticotonic patients. Transcutaneous laser therapy is applied to facial nerve projection area in 2-3 points, to carotid artery projection area in 1-2 zones on the injured side, to sympathetic formations of cervico-occipital area in 1-2 points and to biologically active points on the face is administered to parasympatheticotonic patients. The procedure lasts 9-15 min with arterial blood pressure not to be dropped more than by 10-15 mm of mercury column and heart beat rate not to be reduced more than by 10-12 strokes per minute. The total number of daily procedures is equal to 5-7. Wavelength of the helium-neon laser radiation is equal to 632.8 nm.
