FIELD: grinding of loose materials. SUBSTANCE: grinding is effected due to impact of particles against braking shield. Particles of material to be ground are fed to inlet of centrifugal accelerator passages where they are accelerated. Accelerator is provided with horizontal rotor with rectilinear radial passages with converging fitted at their outlets. Rotor passages are made in form of cylindrical pipes secured on accelerator. Nozzles are made in form of cylindrical bushes manufactured from wear-resistant material and secured inside pipe; these bushes are provided with converging inner passages. Braking shield is assembled from vertical cylindrical bushes which are turnable on vertical rod members. Rotor passages may be provided with linings in form of ceramic inserts. EFFECT: high rate of throwing of ground material particles; enhanced durability of plant. 3 cl, 5 dwg
