SHUTOFF-CONTROL VALVE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: high-pressure pipeline fixtures. SUBSTANCE: valve is used for contaminated media. It is designed to control flow rate and to shut off flow. Valve has body with inlet and outlet channels. Two gates are positioned in body: control gate coupled to rod moved by drive and shutoff gate coupled to rod. Valve is provided with auxiliary gate which seat is secured in lower part of body coaxially with rod. Shutoff gate is made disc-like and positioned on hollow extension of rod downstream from control gate, and its seat is secured in body coaxially with rod. Radial holes are made in hollow extension of rod above disc-like gate. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and durability. 2 cl, 2 dwg
