FIELD: valving systems.
SUBSTANCE: control valve comprises housing provided with inlet and outlet passages. The space of the housing receives the multi-step control gate valve. The steps of the gate valve are connected with the rod for permitting synchronous opening of all seats of the gate valve when rod moves. The rod is actuated by means of a drive. The control gate valve is made of a piston. The piston is mounted on the rod that is provided with the top and bottom steps. The steps are interconnected through the openings made in the piston and provided with control faces and sealing surface on the top step. The piston is mounted in the unmovable tubular seat provided with the radial openings. The openings are overlapped by the top and bottom steps when the valve is in the closed position. The radial openings overlapped by the bottom step are in communication with the inlet passage. The radial openings overlapped by the top step are in communication with the outlet passage. The sealing member of the seat faces the top step and is mounted for permitting cooperation with the sealing surface on the top step when the valve is closed.
EFFECT: simplified design and enhanced reliability.
