FIELD: armored forces, control systems of combat track-laying vehicles with gas-turbine engines. SUBSTANCE: signal indicator of choice of transmission includes signal lamps of upshift and downshift mounted on panel of mechanic-driver and phones in communication helmet of mechanic-driver coupled to rotational speed of turbocompressor of II stage and power turbine through three-phase rectifiers, ripple filters, amplifiers and electromagnetic contact devices. Thus signal indicator makes it possible to select optimal transmission with which most efficient operational condition of engine is ensured which is especially important for mechanics-drivers of low proficiency. Proposed signal indicator allows fuel consumption and economic characteristics of combat track-laying machines with gas-turbine engines to be improved by 7.0- 14.5% depending on proficiency of mechanic-driver and operational conditions and acceleration characteristics of engine and tank correspondingly to be raised by factor of 1.5. EFFECT: improved fuel consumption-economic and dynamic characteristics of combat track-laying machine, ease of control and correct selection of transmission independent of proficiency of mechanic-driver. 4 dwg
