FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine tool may be used in operations of circular external infeed grinding of workpieces made of different materials. Metal-cutting machine tool has frame, table, spindle, cutting-fluid supply system, and magazine-accumulator positioned on machine-tool table. Magazine-accumulator is made in the form of multiposition turret head in positions of which cartridges with bars of solid lubricating composition of different compound are installed. During operation bars of solid lubricating composition are pressed to heated surface of workpiece. Solid lubricating composition is melted and applied on workpiece surface uniformly in thin layer. As a result, oscillations in processing system and operating cycle time are reduced. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 dwg
