FIELD: mechanical engineering, instrument engineering, devices for accurate feeding the workpieces in finishing grinding. SUBSTANCE: device contains base, heating member, and device for fixing the workpiece mounted on the heating member. The heating member is made of housing rigidly fixed to the base. The housing is made from material of high specific resistance. Enclosure of the device protects the heating member from cutting emulsion. The heating and cooling systems of the heating member heats the housing by electric current conducting through it and cools the housing by fluid flow. EFFECT: enhanced quality of the workpiece surface to be grounded due to providing uniform high-accuracy motion of the workpiece by means of the heating member. 2 dwg
