FIELD: transport engineering; vehicle electrical equipment. SUBSTANCE: device provides control over operation of windshield wiper at intermittent duty and windshield washer at continuous duty with delay of switching off of windshield wiper after switching off of windshield washer. Device has intermittent duty cycle setter consisting of threshold device to control switch, and wiping cycle interval setting circuit. It has also time delay relay providing delayed switching off of windshield wiper after switching off of windshield washer, OR circuit to first and second inputs of which wiping cycle interval setting circuit and time delay relay are connected, windshield wiper motor switch and cycle setter and time relay switching buses. Peculiarity of proposed invention is that windshield wiper motor switch is placed in circuit between windshield wiper motor and third input of OR circuit, and input of threshold device is connected with output of OR circuit.
