FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: process includes: heating coking chamber, heating raw material and feeding it along with coking distillate fraction as heat carrier into lower part of coking chamber. Novelty resides in that said coking distillate fraction is fraction 200-500 C, which is heated before feeding into coking chamber to temperature by 50-60 C superior to that of raw material, and feeding of heat carrier is continued until coking process in the top part of chamber is completed.
