FIELD: maintenance of buildings and structures. SUBSTANCE: technical objective lies in generation of instrumental data for qualified evaluation of change of physical state of building or structure in process of its usage. Method of scheduled preventive test includes determination of dynamic characteristics of object by oscillations measured under action of vibration, measurement of spatial microvibrations of object under action of microseismic background of natural and made-made origin under which conditions tested object exists or under action of controlled source of vibrations. Initial parameters of dynamic characteristics showing physical state of object as whole and of its separate blocks, units and members are determined on basis of primary engineering-seismic inspection of building or structure. Subsequent similar periodic inspections are used to determine stability or rate and direction of change of dynamic characteristics in time, to evaluate effect of detected changes and anomalies of dynamic characteristics on physical state of object.
