FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has six-staged stainless steel blocks with volume of 400 cu.dm each, illumination device with ten low-pressure lamps above each block, system for maintaining temperature of cultural medium within the range of 31-34 C at pH value of 9.5 plus and minus 0.5, and mixer for mixing cultural medium. Apparatus is further provided with fluorescent lamps with maximum value of 611-450 nanometer of radiation spectrum. Luminescent solid coat of luminescent lamps contains less than 20 wt. % of luminescent solid with maximum value of 450 nanometer within radiation spectrum. Growing of mentioned microalgae by means of apparatus allows protein, carotinoid and vitamin E content to be improved, as well as algae mass yield to be increased. This microalgae may be used as feed for chickens and allows consumption of valuable vitamins to be reduced, or it may be used as feed for hens and allows grass flour consumption to be reduced without adverse effect upon productivity.
