FIELD: medicine, medical equipment; applicable in compensation of liver malfunction. SUBSTANCE: biological artificial liver has a body with branch pipes for supply and discharge of biological fluid. The body is filled with homogeneous mixture of particles of neutral carrier made in the form of diffusion-permeable material and fragments of liver tissues. Tissue fragments and carrier particles are taken in quantitative ratio of 1:2-1:10 with a*a*b sizes, where a = 0.4-0.6 mm and b = 0.4-3 mm. EFFECT: improved biochemical blood quantient and survival rate in treatment of liver acute affection. 2 cl, 1 dwg
