FIELD: diagnostics of motor vehicles, specifically, of equipment ensuring safety of travel. SUBSTANCE: structural members providing for attachment of dynamometer to rim of steering wheel ( bracket with screw, rests, location rim and clip ) are assembled in single compact unit-attachment gear placed on body. With this in mind insert is made in the form of part of hollow cylinder, bracket is L-shaped, rests are put on one of its ends, location rim is manufactured in the form of U-shaped support with cuts in ends to accommodate insert, clip has shape of plate mounted on free end of screw for rotation. Insert is made fast to middle of outer surface of body, support is made fast with cuts to middle of outer surface of insert. EFFECT: diagnostics of steering of motor vehicles with use of device fitted with compact and reliable attachment gear. 1 cl, 3 dwg
