FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying magnetic stimulation above the occipital region of the brain. Then, latent period of orbicular eye muscle motor response is recorded and analyzed. The latent period of orbicular eye muscle motor response being found to increase to 27.9 ± 0.5 ms and more, disturbed excitation propagation capacity is diagnosed on the side where the latent period is increased.
