SUBSTANCE: boring head includes boring bar supporting asing for embedding cutter holder in the form of worm gear sector, cutter and worm engaged with sector of worm gear. In order to locally work rough inner surface of tubes, for example in zone of welded joint, for removing bead, undercuts, non-welded portions without forming sharp step between worked and non-worked zones of tube, boring head includes axle supporting worm gear sector with possibility of rotation in plane parallel to boring bar axis. Cutter is rigidly secured to said sector and worm is mounted in parallel with axis of boring bar. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
