AERATION SECTION Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: biological purification of sewage water. SUBSTANCE: aeration section has collector 3 mounted on spherical support 6 arranged under center of gravity of aeration section. Weight of aeration section is greater than weight of liquid 1 replaced by volume of aeration section submerged into liquid 1. Collector 3 has additional load 8 made in the form of cylindrical container with ballast. Such construction allows aeration section mounting operation to be simplified and to be performed without necessity for assembler to descend onto bottom of aerotank 2. Mounting operation may be effectuated without emptying of aerotank from liquid. EFFECT: simplified and accelerated mounting of aeration section and increased efficiency. 3 cl, 2 dwg
