FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device relates to biological decontamination of effluents and can be used for connection of air duct pipes of aerators to stalk. Proposed device comprises adjacent air duct pipe lengths communicated via coaxially butting ends and seals between their ends. Besides, it comprises the seal of adjacent air duct pipe lengths butt to tightly clamp said seal between said ends with the help of yokes or half-yokes. Outer circular groove is made at every end of adjacent air duct pipe lengths while the latter have lengthwise stiffness ribs. Note here that the depth of outer circular grooves is larger than the height of lengthwise stiffness ribs. Sidewalls of circular grooves on the side of adjacent air duct pipe length ends are skewed at 15-20 degrees to vertical plane of pipe length cross-section area.
EFFECT: efficient sealing and adjustment of aerator elements.
