FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: double knit fabric has upper layer manufactured from yarn made of modified cation-exchange polycaproamide filament, and lower layer manufactured from yarn composed of mixture of modified anion-exchange polycaproamide filament and modified hydrophilic polycaproamide filament. Upper layer is produced on the basis of grafted copolymer of polycaproamide and polyglycidyl methacrylate, phosphorylated with 1-oxyethylene diphosphono acid. Ratio of anion-exchange and hydrophilic filaments in lower layer is 1:(0.1-0.2) by weight, and ratio of volumetric filling of layers is 1: (0.6-0.8). Composite multilayer fabric of such structure may be used as fibrous sorbent, as well as material for manufacture of technical and other special products.
