METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF CHARGE COMPONENTS TO DROPPING IN BOREHOLE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: blasting operations, applicable in mining industry at opencast mining of mineral resources. SUBSTANCE: the outer surface of powder charges is screened by inserts of inert materials with formation of the external contour smaller than the borehole diameter, but larger than the charge diameter. The inserts are made in the form of rings perpendicular to the charge axis, strips of plastic, rubber, board or stems of plants oriented in the charge longitudinal axis and fastened on its surface by a tape with an adhesive layer, as well as in the form of a net with point bosses in the form of hemispheres or nodes fastened on it. Thus prepared borehole charge components are dropped in the hole, for absorption of the impact a pack of film material with liquid or gas is positioned on the end of each charge. EFFECT: simplified procedure of preparation of powder charges, enhanced safety of their dropping in borehole without the mechanism and device for charging. 6 cl, 6 dwg
