FIELD: chemical and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: method determining concentration of dispersive systems can be used to control and regulate concentration of ferromagnetic particles in liquid and is specifically related to test of combustible and lubricating materials for content of metal ferromagnetic particles. Recorded volume with liquid is placed into linearly polarized electromagnetic and permanent magnetic fields, volume of liquid with ferromagnetic particles is positioned axially in cylindrical resonator coming in the form of closed conducting hollow cylinder. Direction of permanent magnetic field is aligned with axis of cylindrical resonator, resonance of oscillation H111 without bias field is found and loaded Q-factor of resonator is measured. Permanent magnetic field corresponding to longitudinal ferroresonance is formed and followed by measurement of loaded Q- factor of cavity resonator. Concentration is determined as difference of inverse values of loaded Q-factors with and without bias field correspondingly. EFFECT: increased precision and sensitivity in measurement of low concentration of ferromagnetic particles in liquid. 1 dwg
